Your parents do not need A/V letter. They can supplement last 3 months of statements. If you still want to give a try. You can ask bank manager to send a letter with current amount on your A/C to the address mentioned on your A/C. which means, they are sending the information to the addressee on the A/C.
If I were you, I would wait until your job is done. Then, close the A/C with a reason specified "Not happy with service".
It will be helpful if you can mention the bank name on this forum for all our immigrant community.

My lawyer filed the I-485, EAD and AP package for me and my wife. She put a G-28 notice for each application (with our and her signatures). She missed signing the AP G-28 for my wife. I asked her about this. She said it should be fine. They would not consider her notice of representation for this particular case, and would mail the AP approval directly at our home address.
I hope we are fine and our application doesn't get rejected since we had one check for all the applications.

I don't think the flaw is with Labor substitution per se. The problem is with the assignment of labor's original priority date to the new substituted alien.
An individual gets attached to the labor at the I140 stage, and thats the date they should use for substituted labor applications. This along with Perm's (ideal) processing times would make labor substitution insignificant.

Looks like the best bet for you would be to give the exam in either Houston or Dallas.
I am in Denver, Colorado...there is els center here...but that is nt mentioned on the ielts.org website.

that dates being current is not an indication of you getting your GC. The dates have to be current for a long time for you to see the approval.
It is very unfortunate that your lives can be tied to this dates circus. :(

By the way, do you believe in the news from other billion news website? I think most of us visit other websites to verify if the info is correct so that there is no propoganda involved. If you think timesofindia is one of them than don't visit that website but you cannot request others to do the same.

Can anyone advise me on a good employer.I heard that Pyramid Consulting is one big vendor in atlanta..Any inputs about Pyramid is greatly appreciated..Or any other good vendors in atlanta area?

If you are using AC21, why falling into this consulting trap again? Unless they find you a project, why go behind them? Doing a h1b transfer through a consulting company may look like a safety net but it obviously has its own set of problems. AC21 works just fine and one need not worry too much about it. A lot of people using AC21 and want to work on contract jobs actually contract out through their own corp.

My 485 got approved 3 months back. Once the status showd "Card Production Ordered". Then changed to "Post Decission Activity". I received the Welcome lettter that i have been grnated permanent resident statusI called USCIS some 45 days back. They mentioned the card has been mailed and file another I-90 mentioning my card is lost. I told them i have not received it at all and asked why i need to spend money and file I-90 again when i did not receive it at all. They said file I-90, thats all. I took infopass appointment. The IO at infopass gave same answer. We mailed the card, its lost, we did not receive it back, file I-90.
I asked if my EAD is valid until i get the green card. The officer asked if he can see my EAD. I had both me and my wife's EADs in a cover and gave both to him. Once he took it, he said he cannot give it back. I asked what should i do now and how should i show my status/ work authorization. He said your only option is to file I-90. Come back after filing I-90 and submitting fingerprints, then we will stamp on your passport. I have been cornered.
I have never missed a single mail. When i mentioned same in the post office, they said its absurd when i receive all mails except the card and that something is wrong with the sender. USCIS is making some blunder in sending the cards and forcing people to spend money and go through the hassle of applying for a new one. They dont check any further information other than bluntly saying "We mailed it, we have not received it back". Such important documents should have a tracking number so that we know that they have actually mailed. There is no way to know if they really mailed it.
Seen this? Seems like USCIS is starting to track delivery confirmation for important docs via USPS (not sure since when though):

... for your help! Now, what do you guys think about getting paid until the end of June by the 1st employer (but at the same time starting to work inofficially i.e. observing only for the 2nd employer) and then going back to work for a couple of weeks for the 1st employer but staring to get paid by the 2nd so that it's fair for both? Would that be legal? If not, there really isn't a good way to deal with this since the new H1Bs are valid not before Oct (if i'd apply for 2 H1Bs), right? I obviously don't want to jeopardize my visa to make my old employer happy so don't want to do anything that's not completely OK in that regard....
In regards to the timing of a petition for a transfer (leaving all the other stuff above aside for a moment), let's say i'd like to start at the new employer 1st of July - to be on the safe side I should get a lawyer, plan a week for them to get the petition ready and then i'd have to wait a couple weeks for the receipt notice (which then allows me to work for the new employer, correct?) - so that would make it 3 weeks?

I am sorry that your calls were not returned. I am one of the state chapter leaders, and I am working remote supporting the core team.
To tell you the truth, I know it is crazy at the Situation room. Everyone is very busy trying to keep up with 134 appointments we have sceduled today and also training all the folks that are coming in for these meetings. Everything except the most important tasks are falling through the cracks since the volunteers are overloaded.

One thing does not make any sense: If they have reduced the backlog so much, why can't they resume I 140 premium processing?
AILA is finally tired of asking this question, but it simply does not fit the equation that thye have not yet started premium processing (considering their love for money:p)

Why not Fragomen clients ? DOL said that they didn't have different audit queues for random or targeted audits. My case will pass 15 months and I was thinking of asking Fragomen clients to query DOL.
I know this is not going to help that much..but hey..what do we have to loose now:D

To force USCIS to adjudicate i-140 within 180 days or 6 months, if concurrent filing is removed, we may comment to include a clause that says "If i-140 is pending for more than 180 days and PD is current, i-485 may be filed.
Better yet, if they will include filing of i-485 even if PD is not current.
The silverlining if they remove concurrent filing is that there will be pressure to adjudicate i-140 within reasonable time or better yet, a hard target of 6 months.
